It’s not just my kids who I want to get to love spinach. It’s you too! So I’m going to give you a few recipes that use spinach for you to try, including the first smoothie with spinach I made that started it all for me.

First up! White Bean, Spinach and Basil Hummus. Traditional hummus with chick peas is great, but this is a pretty tasty variation that I think you’ll like. You can use chick peas if you aren’t a fan of white beans.
This Roasted Garlic Soup with Chicken and Spinach was really tasty. Once you get the garlic roasted, you can throw the whole lot in the slow cooker to simmer all day. Your house will smell heavenly!
And this little gem, my Blueberry Spinach Smoothie that started my love affair with spinach and fruit smoothies is my last offering of the day. My kids actually love having spinach in their smoothies. The nice thing about the combination of blueberries and spinach is that the color isn’t weird. The blueberry color pretty much dominates so if you need to sneak the spinach in, you will probably get away with it.
