It’s really not that bad! He’s just trying to look tough!

Almost every morning, the College Boy (not pictured here – he refused) fires up his Nutra Ninja blender and makes himself the same smoothie. He’s allowed me to taste it a couple time. It’s not bad and I have to say, I’m proud of him for coming up with something for breakfast that had fruit, veggies, and protein!

Peanut Butter and Jelly Smoothie
1 6 oz container of some fruit flavored yogurt – he prefers Raspberry Greek yogurt
1 banana
2 tbsp peanut butter powder or peanut butter
1 scoop protein powder of choice
1/4 cup milk

  1. The Nutra Ninja we have has one speed. So, put all your ingredients in and blend until smooth.

This is not a beautiful smoothie. But as I’m sure I’ve said before, “Pretty is as pretty does!” This high protein energizer is the perfect start (or end) to any day. Also good for all moments throughout the day when the “feel like” temp is over 100 and using any sort of heat to cook seems like a very bad idea.
